Respect for QR rethinking

My original metformin er 500mg side effects hack was to remove the stripe, and add a logo, until I realize the genius of this QR generator is that they have programmed the generator to recognize the pattern pixels as data. Thus, my hack of replacing it with a logo did not fit within typical EC levels.

The real reason why I am impressed is this is a new approach to QR. I have personally devoted hours to analyzing and rethinking how pixels can be regrouped to form images, but to program an algorithm that uses an image as a source, is amazing. I am not saying that machines and computers will take over the world ( because obviously they will ), but to rethink barcode encoding methods is hinting at the future of how we can encode data to balance technical and aesthetics – which shows a great level of human empathy and thought. Much respect.
