Farmville QR code

After seeing many google earth datamatrix codes similar to crop circles, I decided that I could make one of my own – in farmville.
The interesting side effect of my experiment, is that through play, I have essentially inserted a link ( or an advertisement ) inside of the game. By scanning my farm with a QR code scanner, you can access my website. I believe the official term for this is guerilla marketing.
Now – I admit that my farm does not have massive page views to make a substantial impact, but what if major brands started running farms that were essentially UX playgrounds for fans. Possible? yes. Effective? not sure.
Just a thought. When will advertisers invade more of the social game space?
